"As an artist, who taught art in public schools, for more than a decade, I found I had requests to give private lessons and I originally began Art Matters, in downtown Bowling Green. Gallery events and being part of Main Street was lots of fun.  When we moved from downtown, to an acre of land, we changed our focus to nature and that has become so enriching.  Here are photos of  The New School when we first began in 2020/21."  -T.Xmas

We caught this photo of a deer visiting Art Matters, The New School.

An acre of land provides a variety of places to hold art lessons outdoors.

Our art lessons are much more based on nature, our art more inspired by the world around us.

Art Matters has moved to The New School!

Students still see a lot of familiar things from the old Art Matters- it's just a new arrangement.

Of course we brought all our art materials to The New School!

This is one view of the screened in porch, when it was still in-progress. Art activities take place here during warm months- with lots of fresh air!

Our entire family helped to build the New School. It was a labor of Love.

These folks may do carpentry, but they are actually both Early Childhood experts, who do a lot behind the scenes to make the New School a special place.

The New School has a new addition: A small Natural History Museum to display our collection of bones, rocks and other artifacts from nature.
